Last Monday’s circus-filled Open Stage sang proud songs about weird uncles, danced with lethal clockwork dolls, narrowly avoided an international language incident, sparkled with belly dancers, dodged the fallout of a primate gone wild and cheered as one clever singer gave us the finger.
